Criteria and evaluation
Appearance & Feel: -Hundred of designs, colors and texture.
-Postformed counter can have different types of edge,
while laminate only have a square edge.
-Size and shape decided by the size of the sheet that are
made.
-Joints are visible.
Resistance: -Don’t stain easily, but when stain gets embedded, they
are very hard to remove.
-Not great under heat. Hot pans can scorch and discolor
the surface.
Antimicrobial: Easy to clean and wash
Maintenance & Cleaning: -Laminate countertops are easy to clean with a swipe of
a wet cloth or sponge.
-No maintenance needed.
Value: Great value, economic solution
