Solid Wood
Wood is one of the most versatile material. Strong enough to be used for most parts of
furniture, it can be turned, bent and sculpt. We can also make some beautiful and well-built
assembly joints, such as dovetails, to show the quality of the furniture.
Solid wood furniture are high end, and it give a natural touch to a room. The beauty of
the wood is in the fact that there are not two pieces the same, always unique. If you want
consistency, wood may not be your best bet.
Advantage:
• Unique color and grain on each piece
• Several types of wood
• Versatile
• Durable and easy to repair
Disadvantage:
• Expensive
• Not recommended in room with high humidity
• No consistency in color or grain pattern
