Plastic Laminate
Plastic Laminate is similar to Melamine, but it’s more resistant. It’s made from multiple layers of
Kraft paper soaked in plastic resin. Like Melamine board, it is available in a wide range of colors
and texture.
More expensive than melamine, it’s still an economic option.
We recommend using a combination of melamine cabinet and Plastic laminate top to have a less
expensive furniture.
Advantage:
• Consistent coloring and grain pattern
• Variety of color and prints
• More durable than melamine, scratch resistant
• Easy maintenance
Disadvantage:
• Might chip or detach
• More expensive than Melamine
