Wood Veneer
Wood Veneer is a thin layer of wood glued to a stable substrate, like particle
board, MDF or plywood. It can be made in all types of wood, like maple, birch, walnut, etc.
While keeping a natural look, it is more stable than solid wood. It still have the real-
wood look, but we can have it in much bigger pieces than real wood. We can also order it in
different veneer matching, like Book match or Plank. It also have different grade, for different
usage.
It is also a more economical solution than solid wood, but it's still more expensive than
using melamine.
Advantage:
• Less expensive than Solid wood
• Real-Wood look
• Unique color and grain on each piece
• Several types of wood and pattern
Disadvantage:
• No consistency in color or grain pattern
• Scratch easily, harder to repair
